Hi,

I am new to this service now. I want to know service now datacenter locations and on which cloud it is - AWS, Azure, etc.

Thanks,

Punit

ServiceNow runs its own cloud.   At the last ServiceNow event I went to they were actually bragging about how they are actually larger than AWS.

ServiceNow doesn't sit on a third party cloud, we occupy space within premium 3rd party data centres (dedicated suites or cages), from that point upwards our cloud is built and maintained by our own personnel.

This is the case for all customer instances, there is an exception for events like Knowledge where we need to scale out many thousands of extra demo/lab instances for a short period of time, for K15 I believe we used AWS.

From the corporate website -

SERVICENOW DATA CENTERS MAINTAIN

Industry-standard SSAE16/SOC1 Type II attestation or ISO 27001 certifications, which provide third-party verification of the data center controls, security measures, and operational processes that supply physical security protection and facilities support for the ServiceNow environment.

SERVICENOW ACHIEVED

The highest level of certification for a wide range of industry standards and industry-specific compliance including SSAE16/SOC1 Type II and ISO 27001, Pharmaceutical industry IQOQ, and a government-wide FISMA Moderate Authority to Operate (ATO)

hope that helps

Can fully confirm David's answer. When we started in 2012 to work with ServiceNow, I visited the data center where our instance was/is located. This was/is in the premise of one of the largest data center service provider in Switzerland, which was/is fully certified according to all the applicable standards and certifications. This was confirmed with my personal visit and written down in an Audit report at that period. Since then for every year, to cover the validation life cycle of our ServiceNow implementation, we rely, trust and refer to the current Industry-standard SSAE16/SOC1 Type II reports or ISO 27001 certifications provided to ServiceNow by independent auditors companies. These are all published and available in the Life Sciences Community here.

As Global Quality Manager in our pharmaceutical company, heavily regulated, I'm very happy to get all these documents, as well as all the CORE validation documentation (incl. SOPs, BCM, Disaster Recovery Testing etc..) for each ServiceNow release. The CORE validation documentation from ServiceNow builds the basis/reference from where our validation activities and documentation starts.

I'm very glad about the support and documentation provided.
