Hello,

A user is getting this error: Session expired (401) 'Your login session has expired. Please login again'

We are on Tokyo Patch-4

User is using Next Experience view in ServiceNow for a few weeks, but now it time out on a very regular basis. It is not after a set amount of inactivity but sometimes after have just used the forms a couple of minutes ago. In effect it time out many times a day.

How can this issue be resolve.

Well, that would be the case internal to his company, not public to the rest of us. My team is probably about to report this issue as well.

I still have one user that is complaining of this issue, they say that it happens only when they are at home behind the company VPN. We suspect that the issue is the they are actually loosing network connection and that is what is causing the issue.

The other problem is the message itself. Users have been trained over the years by MS that if you see a 404 error it is a critical issue. We suggested to SN that the message be changed or at least give the admin/SYS Admin the ability to change it (I could not figure out how or where to),

We're on Xanadu, and several users are experiencing this as well.  Sorry, I have no suggestions, just adding myself to the string.

There are several properties that control the logout time, and I believe in Tokyo we saw the default value was changed on the property.

You will have to look in your instance to see how things are configured.

If you experiencing this issue on an AWS self hosted instance. Turn on `stickiness` for target group of the registered instances.
