Setting Interactive Filter in Employee Center Based on Activity Configuration Selected

I created a new activity configuration record in Employee Center called 'Overdue Tasks'. Essentially, I want this activity configuration to only display the number of overdue tasks that are currently open. Q1. How would I do this? 

 

The activity configuration is linked to the 'hrm_todos_page'. 

I also already set up the 'Over Due' to do filter and it works fine manually. 

When the 'Overdue Tasks' activity configuration is selected from the home page in Employee Center, then I want this list on the 'hrm_todos_page' to be automatically filtered, so that only 'Over Due' to-do records on the 'Open' tab are displayed on hrm_todos_page. Q2. Essentially, can the interactive filter on the hrm_todos page be set up so that if a specific activity configuration is selected then it will select a choice for the interactive filter?

Do you know if we can hide some data from home page active activity widget? also can help to share how did you showing overdue task on home page?
