Show matching cant find a value even though its populated

Hi,
I have the custom field u_nickname which is a calculated field according to some script on the sys_user table.
When I click show matching, even though there is a value inside the field it shows that it cant find it. Any idea why?

Did you try to search in list view without show matching? Give a try in that way to ensure that search is working.

It means issue with search only not with Show matching. Did you check the links I shared.
