Hi Team,

How can I show a trend line below the Performance Analytics Indicator to show a trend line as the sum of New and Closed records?

Hi @SM16 ,

Just add an additional widget indicator to the main widget where a formula indicator calculate the sum of new and closed records.

Anders was just a bit faster with the answer, but I do wonder what that trend line is going to tell you? New and Closed are two different KPI's. If I have 5 apples and 7 cats, I have 12... something?

12 turtles 😉 - joke aside. I would believe since the screenshot shows vulnerability items, that it should show the backlog growth etc.

That was my initial thought as well, but if you add new to closed it's not showing you that. Hence my question. If you would subtract, I'd understand.

If I have 5 new records and 5 closed on day 1, I have a total of 10. On day 2 5 new ones are created and I close 7, which should show a decline in backlog of -2, it will in fact show 12.

I think I'll share the apples with the turtles, but I am still curious on the requirement behind adding new and closed records. Showing 'open' records would make more sense (in my opinion).
