My developer instance seems to go to sleep every night 'for inactivity', but I'm a very active developer and work extensively on the instance every day. Does anyone else have the same issue, and does anyone know a fix? Waking up isn't a problem, but it's frustrating that I have to do it every morning.

Hi Glen,
Thanks for taking the time to provide us with feedback.
We recently introduced hibernation as a way to more efficiently utilize resources set aside for the Developer Program to ensure that instances continue to be free and widely available. We are working through the right level of activity before hibernating and will be making tweaks in the coming weeks to try to make the user experience better and less inconvenient for those who are utilizing their instances regularly.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions or comments.
Thank you for your patience as we work through this.

thanks for the update. this does make sense.
Although my first thought was..... Really? AGAIN????
though it only takes about 1 minute to wake up i can deal with it since it is a free instance and you guys are fronting the cost.
I greatly appreciate the instance.
I would just recommend at least 24 - 48 hours of inactivity before hibernation.
