Software Model -Software Catalog

Hi Folks,

I would like to know the relation between Software Model and Software catalog items.Can anybody explain with some useful links ?

My requirement is set up a check box on Software Model and when this checkbox is checked , The same checkbox should appear in ALL  Software Catalog items under Software .Any one can help with implementation ? 

Should I go with a BR ?

Software model is to capture the details about software, which is related to Product /cmdb as well.

Where a user can request for these software's.

Atul: What is purpose of having check box? What functionality you want to achieve with this? If you provide more details will able to help you. 

Adding check box is a new field creation and considered as custmization.
