Solarwinds Alert Integration access through MID server ?

I am working on enabling the SolarWinds Alert Integration in ServiceNow.
But we have an issue, since the Orion Server is in a managed network, that does not have access to the Internet.

I would like to use the MID server as a kind of proxy if that is possible?
Has anybody tried that?
And if, how is it done ?

I haven't tried it, but it is possible. It's probably also the only way you can set this up, because ServiceNow can't reach it in any other way. The downside is that an issue with the MID Server also disables your alerts from SolarWinds.
