SolarWinds fields update issue on servicenow instance.

Hello All,

 

In the Network Gear class record the IP address is not getting updated from Solarwinds. I have configured SolarWinds Service Graph Connector.

And also the Serial Number is not getting correctly updated on Hardware assets from SolarWinds.

Could anyone help me on this. Thank you.

Does the u_servicetag and u_hardwareserialnumber has any values? in the end after all the transformation the serial number will be stored in  cleansed_serial_number field. If that field has value then it will be the target serial number

Hi @VivekSattanatha , I could see there are values in u_servicetag and u_hardwareserialnumber from import set table but where can I see the serial number in cleansed_serial_number ?

I'm not getting where to see this field. Could you please help me on this.

If you have Integrationhub ETL plugin installed on that instance you can view it in the Preview and prepare data section.

How to get update IP address field on network gear ?

You would need to change the OOTB RTE mapping which is not a recommended approach. If it gets populated in IP address table you can write a business rule to populate the IP address field if it is really needed.
