Sometimes search button is not visible over list. As an end user, in some list it is visible and in some it is not.

Hi Swathi,
This is an expected behavior for ServiceNow.
Whenever the filter is set and run then the search icon does not come up. You have to then build the queries from the filter.

Hi Swathi,
Are you referring to the global search that is available on the right most corner of the form. If so mostly it is visible for itil users.
If required this can be altered by System definition >> search groups >> tasks.
There in we can specify list of roles to view the global Search option.
If it is not for global search kindly past a screenshot of the search that is being referred.

Hmmm... I wonder if its ACL related.
