Hi

I'm working in knowledge module so if open knowledge module from SOW view I'm getting this attached image view it's  like a portal view only when i click edit button its opening a view that is a backend view

So now my requirement is by default i need to get the default backend view when i click a article from list view of sow so if that's not possible atleast i need to restrict ratings , comments I mean it should be like read only in this sow view  Screenshot 2025-06-09 210255.pngopen from sow

Hi @Bruce lee

This is expected behavior, and I would not recommend changing it. When a user opens or creates a new article, it opens in an editable mode; otherwise, the user would need to click on edit to make changes.

Only when i click edit button its taking me to backend view

My requirement is without clicking the edit button by default it should take me to backend view

Hi @Bruce lee

I understand your point, but the issue is that this behavior is by design. If you change it, you would need to modify the design, which could impact future upgrades. The view you’re able to see seems to be because you’re logged in as an Admin; try logging in as an ITIL user.
