Hi Guys,

I do not want to see the other 6 items under my Popular Items widget in the Portal. I would like only see 3 of my own items. How can adjust this Popular Item which is coming from SC_category Page?

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

In a production environment, I would ideally deactivate all OOB catalog items or record producers and its related data as they wont be used by the customer.

If you need to hide specific items from this list like Laptops, then set its Visible elsewhere flag to false from the list layout of sc_cat_item table and it will dissapear from the Popular items widget.

Hi there,

Have you tried applying Instance Options?

And do you just want 3 items of your own and NO popular items at all? Or few popular items, and 3 of your own? Or the popular items, though some items not displayed?

If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.

Kind regards,

Hi, the default value is $sp.cat_item_list.click

Where this value is coming? How can I find my needed value?

I would like to see only my 3 items.

Ah oke. Correct me if I'm wrong. But, you are actually not interested in the Popular Items? So instead of displaying that Widget, you would just display on that same location 3 tiles for Catalog Items of your choosing?

So that also might be not displaying the Popular Items widget at all, though a different widget instead?

If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.
