Hello Experts,

Can someone explain why state always changes after 5 days to closed automatically if the state is resolved?

Hi,

there is an auto-closure script which does this

business rule: incident autoclose

search in today's schedule job name as: Autoclose Incidents

the 5 days or 7 days is a property configured 'glide.ui.autoclose.time'

Mark Correct if this solves your issue and also mark 👍 Helpful if you find my response worthy based on the impact.
Thanks

Hi there ,

You can configure ServiceNow to automatically close tickets that have been in an Incident State of "Resolved" a specified number of days.

If you set the property to zero days (the default), Incidents will not auto-close. To set the property, navigate to System Properties > System, and then look for the following property:

Auto Close 1

hope this helps !
