Story Form Release Reference Display Value

Hello Community,

I have a requirement for the reference field called Release on the story form rm_story to display short description of the release rather than the release number.  I was able to accomplish this by putting adding to the dictionary override on the release form rm_release for short_description by checking Override Display Value.  However this modify for all references to release not just for the story form.   I also tried these attributes but still shows the number.  Any assistance is appreciated.

ref_auto_completer=AJAXTableCompleter,ref_ac_columns=short_description,ref_ac_display_value=false

Can you confirm if I am getting this right?

You want a field in story form where you can search the short description of enhancements. It's a kind of lookup to the enhancement with description rather than number.

Yes that is correct.   I think I will add an additional field with the short description.
