Target field in External Content Item does not work

I set my external content as 'Target = New Window' but it keeps opening links on the same page, behaving no differently as 'Target = Within Catalog'. Does anyone has the same issue?

Hi,

You may need to clear instance cache and try again as this should work as you'd like.

Please type: cache.do and press enter in left-hand navigation when appropriate.

I did try a few times to clear the cache from cache.do, but it still behaves the same, opening links in the same tab.

Hi,

Is the content/URL structured properly? Do you have anything set incorrectly there? By default it should open in a new tab so I suspect that something else isn't properly set within your configuration.

Should all be as simple as: https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0719331 

The full URL (including the prefix http:// or https://) for external content to display when a user selects the item. https://docs.servicenow.com/csh?topicname=t_AddingContentItemServiceCatalog.html&version=latest
