template toggle bar shows templates for only one user but not all

hello

I noticed that WHEN TOGGLE TEMPLATE BAR is clicked template bar is visible at the down side.

One user is able to see all the applicable templates by default.

Others not. however for other when select Create new template from template toggle bar and close that, applicable templates results on template toggle bar.

Is there any property related or user preferences ?

Hi,

Check if the user has template_editor is the role.

Since it is contained in other role, check for that Role as well.

follow this step :

Go to roles module

search for template_editor

open the template_editor form and configure --> related list and search for contained by and check if user has that specific role

for ex:

In this template_editor is contained by ITIL role.

The access has been controlled by field on template as highlighted below. You can also navigate to Templates[sys_template.list] table and check visibility of template created.

•  User
•  Groups
•  Global

Below are the OOTB roles which restrict fields to edit the template visibility 

• template_editor - With this role user has access to create template
• template_editor_global - Can create templates for groups
• template_editor_group - Can create templates for global use

For more information you can check the Template bar link which detail about the use of the template bar to apply, edit, and create templates.

Also, check Toggle Template Bar to know more. The template bar appears at the bottom of forms. It provides shortcuts to apply, edit, and create templates.
