Hi,I am conducting an investigation into Lifecycle Events in ServiceNow's HR Service Delivery (HRSD). When creating a Lifecycle Event, I believe one would create an activity set. In essence, the progression of the Lifecycle Event's flow typically requires processing all the activities within this activity set. Is there a way to make individual activities within this set optional or skippable?

Yes, you can make individual activities within an activity set optional or skippable in ServiceNow's HR Service Delivery (HRSD) Lifecycle Events. Here are the steps:

1. Navigate to the Lifecycle Event Case in ServiceNow.
2. Open the Lifecycle Event that you want to modify.
3. Go to the Activity Sets related list.
4. Open the Activity Set that contains the activity you want to make optional.
5. In the Activities related list, open the activity you want to make optional.
6. On the activity form, there is a field named 'Optional'. Set this field to 'Yes' to make the activity optional.
7. Save the changes.

Please note that making an activity optional means it can be skipped, but it will still appear in the list of activities for the Lifecycle Event. The user can choose to complete it or skip it.
