top search on esc portal shows previous search term and results as well

on first search we use keyword 'compensation' and it get results related to compensation 

for second search we use keyword 'roles and responsibilities' and it gets results related to compensation and in search field 'compensation' is available not 'roles and responsibilities'

any help appreciated
