We are using dynamic translator to translate short description field if user entered in any language. Is it possible to translate automatically without using this icon.

Not possible, they need to click that icon to get the translation done.

Maybe? You'd have to look up the logic behind that button (UI Macro) and then call it using a business rule or something that writes to a field. Probably best to just leave this as a manual step.
