Translating catalog item variable in sc_req_item table

Hii Everyone, 

                       I have configure dynamic translator and create the translation button in short description and description field.it working fine,but i cant able to translate catalog item variable field in sc_req_item table.

i need to translate the content inside the field.can anyone help me with this .this requirement can be able to do or not?

I guess you could, but it'd be quite a lot of work to implement it into the variable editor macro on sc_req_item.
Also, I'm pretty sure the variable answers don't support translations directly, so if your translator isn't just a UI thing, you'd be updating the answers with the translations and losing the original answers. That wouldn't be good

It would probably be a better idea to just translate the variable contents into the description, work notes or a new field when the record is created and leave the original answers as they were.
