trigger notification

Hi 

 

Requirement : Need to trigger a notification to the requestor after submitting the catalog item

 

I have created notification and event and I have selected when to send as event is fired and event name can anyone help me in the script how to trigger this event after submitting the catalog item is this achievable by business rule..? kindly share the script

Hello @Shabbir1 ,

 

Did you utilize the OOB fields like type-Email, When to send -selecting desired trigger condition. you can choose to send the notification upon insertion or updation of record, body- you can craft message as per your requirement. activate and save the notification.

You can simply use the same workflow or the flow which is attached to the item and by doing this you will no need to mention any trigger condition.

You can utilize the OOB 'Request was opened' notification. Please activate the notification if it is already not.
