Hi all,

 

How can I change form view in UI Builder?

I want to change displayed field, related list, ui action... in workspace form ui.

Certainly! To change the form view in UI Builder within ServiceNow, follow these steps:

  1. Personalize the Form:

    • Open any record in ServiceNow.
    • In the form header, click the personalize form icon (usually represented by a gear or settings icon).
    • The “Personalize Form” menu will appear, allowing you to customize the form layout.

  2. Hide or Show Fields:

    • Within the “Personalize Form” menu, you’ll see checkboxes or icons next to each field.
    • Clear a checkbox or click the hide field icon (usually represented by an eye icon) to hide a specific field.
    • Click outside the menu to save your changes.

  3. Restore Default Form View:

    • To revert to the default form view, personalize the form again and click the “Reset” option.

Remember that these changes will be visible to all users. If you need more advanced customization, consider exploring the form designer feature in UI Builder
