ui macro not rendered in service portal

Hi,

I have some ui macro variables in my service catalog item, basically this ui macro displays some text.   However, when i am trying to view the item in the service portal, the form does not show the ui macro at all. Is this a constaint in Helsinki or am i missing something.

Follow up to my follow up - Helsinki Patch 4 is apparently up now, and one of entries in the patch notes (PRB691606) is

"Widget field on Variable form should only show for UI macro variable type"

Will a widget loaded this way display from the regular, non-service portal view of the service catalog?

Hi Nathan,

Thank you for your prompt response. I could see the widget field, and realize that it can be quite powerful. We also have some variables grouped in columns using "Container Start" and "Container End". How do i get these to work under the service portal.

They are not implemented out-of-box and you would have to add in that functionality yourself... or wait for ServiceNow to add support.

We are finding that our Catalog Client scripts and UI Policies are not working for Service Catalog items when we access them via the Service Portal.   Any ideas on that?
