Hello guys,
We have few catalog items which has ui macros and they work fine in platform ui but not in service portal, i have used OOB "Sc_category" page for displaying the catalog items, I came to know that ui macros are not supported in portal and we have to build the custom widget, Can anyone guide me how can i customize the widget to include the ui macro in the catalog form
Please guide me on this, till now i was playing around OOB widgets and do not have much idea on customising the widget
Any suggestions and guidance will be highly appreciated!
Thanks and Regards,
Bhavna

Hi,
Please navigate Service Portal--> Widgets and click new to create a new widget.
Below is the sample widget to display a paragraph on a form
Include the newly created widget on catalog variable as stated below
You no need to include newly created widget in 'SC Catalog Item' . It should work after including the widget in the variable.
Hope this helps!

Hi Ramesh,
You will have to create UI Macro and then there is a widget field on the Macro variable form which will need to point to this Service Portal widget which is newly created.
Remember to clear out the macro field
