Unable to access Advanced Portal Navigation

Hello, I am on my personal Dev instance ( Xanadu) and trying to add menu items to the employee navigation menu. I am following a SNOW video to create categories and subcategories. None seem to show. Looks like I am being directed to Advanced Portal Navigation and I select the Employee Center.
After selecting , I see it opens it but is in Service Portal and doesn't give me any Taxonomy sync options.
The demo I am watching opens up the same Employee center but is displayed in Advanced Portal Navigation and it shows the Taxonomy and child topics have a sync option.
Is there something I need to activate for Advanced Portal navigation or being able to sync/update my menus?

If the first field in a list view is a reference field it will take you directly to the referenced record. In this case either change the first column to some other non-referenced field or click the info icon to the left of the column to open the desired record.
