Hi Community,
I’m new to ServiceNow and working on my Personal Developer Instance (Zurich release).
Whenever I try to create my first app in App Engine Studio, I get this error:
“Unable to create this application. Go back to the create app experience and enter a different scope name. Details: Failed to create templated object, details: This scope is already taken by another application.”
Steps I already tried:
Reset and wiped the instance
Released and requested a new PDI
Used unique app names and descriptions
Verified my user role (App Engine Studio Creator)
But the error still appears and the app never gets created.
Has anyone else faced this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Thanks in advance 🙏

Hi @Suprajk ,
Have you tried, switiching the role to Admin to see if this works?
-On the Action menu button, select change user role and switch to Admin role
Hope this fixes your issue.

Hi @Suprajk ,
Can you check it today as well. Servicenow made some changes and they changed the PDI home page as well.
