Unable to find Submit UI action button

Joshuu

Hi All,

I have the below requirement on the knowledge create page. The changes proposed must be made only for 2 specific knowledge bases.

Current Situation: Whenever the knowledge submitter submits the information and click on “Submit” button, the page disappears and goes to the list view. The knowledge submitter loses the KB number if they have not already made a note of it. Please refer to the screenshot below:

Proposed Solution: Rename/hide the “Submit” button and create “Save” button and when the knowledge contributor clicks on “Save” button – it should save the details and stay on the same page. Also, it should trigger the knowledge management workflow – which means the article should move from “Draft” state to “Review” state.

I have checked in the instance, but I couldn't find the submit button as UI action on kb_knowledge table.

Please assist.

Thanks & Regards.

Hi @Joshuu ,

Submit button is coming from global table if you want to hide for knowledge table then you need to add your table name and insert and stay and customized as per your requirements. for more details please refer below link-

@Joshuu

that button is present on global table and all tables inherit this button.

you can disable that for your table by doing an override
