Unable to play video uploaded in service-now

I have tried to upload the video in .mov/.avi format and once uploaded it is showing "this plug-in is not supported". I have installed the quick time player too but no go. How to make the video content playable so that we have to make it play in SP.

Unfortunately that doesn't solve the problem as you can see there's a link to a HI ticket https://hi.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0565108 at the bottom of that article that says the following:



This problem has been reviewed by ServiceNow. After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, as well as the cost and risk of attempting a fix, a decision has been made not to address this issue in any current or future releases. We do not make this decision lightly and we apologize for any inconvenience.


Has anyone actually got it working? I even tried embedding a video off of youtube into an iframe and in the text editor it looks like it's going to work but when you save it, the iframe code disappears.
