Unable to see NEW or EDIT button in related list.

I am unable to see the NEW or EDIT button (UI Action) in a Related List for Data Verification Tasks, checked on ACL and all looks good.   This same related list is present in INC, CTASKs and other records working fine, buttons are present. Any ideas why?

It turned out to be a bug with Service Now, their development team is working on this.   Problem was raised and acknowledged in hi.servicenow



The idea was to have Verifications Tasks and have Time Worked related list, in this case the EDIT or NEW button was not showing up as expected.



Any updates I will post here.

I tested the above scenario from my end,But despite of omit New button and Edit button are checked,The New


button is still there,while accessing the related list...Why so??



Note:I   am having an admin role

Yes, the problem is that OMIT NEW andt OMIT EDIT are unchecked, but also no rule is in effect.   Could it be a bug within Service Now?   I do have Admin role.   Thnx!

Yes, the problem is that OMIT NEW andt OMIT EDIT are unchecked, but also no particular UI Actions are in effect(other than NEW and EDIT for GLOBAL).   Could it be a bug within Service Now?   And of course I have Admin role.   Thnx!


Is this defined related list or   out of the box related related list as


  • The Edit button is not available on defined relationships, as the relationship is completely scripted.
