Unable to submit a catalog item and it is stuck at submitting

Some users are unable to submit a catalog item. Below is the error screenshot. 

Its not a widget issue as it is happening for only one catalog item. We also checked  that no ACL is restricting the functionality.

Please help as to what can be checked further.

Probably check for onSubmit client script on that catalog item, there might be some error

Hey.. do you have an user criteria applied to this item and does that user criteria uses gs.getuser() function ?

You are using latest version of SC catalog item widget ? also check if you have any user criteria running on the item
