Unable to switch the app scope to Scoped Application(Custom application)

Hi,
I'm unable to switch the app scope to the application that I'm currently working on(Scoped application) from my Vendor instance, is there a way to fix it? If so kindly point me in the right direction. I tried switching the scope from the cog wheel by setting the app from the application picker and also switching to the application from the Application module by selecting the app that I'm working on. If you know what the problem might be kindly help me trouble shoot the issue.

I am having this issue as well. Everything is fine on one ven instance, but the other is broken for some reason. No matter what you do or click, you're always in the Global application, it will not switch, so you can't do anything in the application. This stops work on the app entirely and thus far I can find no fix and there is no response from HI support. This is being done as Administrator, there are no other accounts in play, so again just like the original post. I'm hoping this was resolved for Harsha and a solution can be posted to fix this.

I used to have exactly the same issue and could solve it by marking the current update set of that scope to complete. This created a new Default update set and now I'm able to switch to that application scope again.
