Unable to Update Catalog Task in Service Operation Workspace

Hi,

I’m facing an issue in the Service Operation Workspace where the form for the Catalog Task is set to "read-only," and I’m unable to update a catalog task. This issue is specific to this view, as the form can be edited in UI default View.

- This issue does not occur when accessing the same Catalog Task from other modules (e.g., Task management, Service Catalog).
- The user has the correct permissions, and editing is possible in other views.
- I’ve already checked the form’s UI policy and business rules, but I didn’t find anything that would cause the form to be locked.
- The issue only happens in the Service Operation Workspace view.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have suggestions on how to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi @Tiago_g_dias

I see the task showing in the approved state? Is it something customised state? I tried in my PDI and it is working fine, try to repair or update your WS to the latest version. Else log a new support case.

Thank you.

I’ve already reverted the Workspace to the oob  version, and the same sc_task is editable in the Default View. The state is not customized, and there are no associated rules that would cause it to be read-only.

Hi @Tiago_g_dias

Looks like there is a Catalog UI policy or a Client script which has been added in the SOW view only.
