Hi,
I haven't created following update set. It says "automatically created by the system". Also it check "Default Set" check box.
Any one knows the reason for these kind of update sets.

Default update set will be set by the system itself. When you donot have any other update set used as "in progress". There is a business rule which does that. It is a expected behaviour . Donot worry.
For example. set your default update set to complete. A new update set called "Default1" will be created by the system

Thank you!
But, the problem is system creates the default one and check the "Default Set" true. Other developers may accidentally work on that update set.

one other note.. you will end up with a default update set for ALL scoped applications.

Andrew,
Yes. The problem is system creates the default one and check the "Default Set" true. Other developers may accidentally work on that update set.
Thank you!

that is a GOOD thing... the updates are there and can be moved to the new update set...
if you catch this you have 2 options...
1> <my prefered> go into the record and change something.. generally i add a space to a name field or a comment to a script while you are in an update set... updates save the ENTIRE xml for the record and NOT just your changes.. so this will move the entire record to the update set.
2> in the default update set find all of your changes that SHOULD have been in an update set.. open the record from the related list and move to the new update set... this is NOT my preferred because we have recently had issues where a record was modified in the update set AND an update was moved to that update set.
