I made some revisions to catalog items, but I used my global update set to record the changes.,. How can I move these changes to the update set I will like to eventually transfer to another instance?

Hi Michael,
Please follow below steps :
1.Navigate to local update set.
2.Open the record which matches below condition :
Name : default
application : global
3. There will be a related list as customer updates filter the records created by you.
4. open the record and change the update set field from default to your update set in which you want the update to be captured
Kind Regards,
Mayur

your are then sure that in global update set nothing is captured by you but if you are not sure about the update set then open customer update table
type sys_update_xml.LIST and enter in left navigation
in that sort created z to a , and filter created by you

Hi Michael,
Go to sys_update_xml.list in the navigation search,
you will find all the updates.. open the record and select the correct update set and update it...
and here we go , you can see the changes in the new update set..
Hit Like/Answered depending on the impact of the answer.

This is more tedious,..... it seems to record every individual change you made....and probably between are changes that you dont want.....
I use the export tool, can I retrieve the latest changes from the catalog..... would that be an easier way,..... ?
