Hi all,
First of all I want to understand what is Checks and its significance?
I have tried to scan my update set that have Client Script, business rule, ACL. I'm getting zero Scan Findings but getting 5 Checks. I'm just wondering what does this "Checks(5)" means? is this something to worry about?

Hi @Sid_Takali ,
All these checks are defined in the scan_check table, type Instance Scan in the navigator and click on checks, you'll see lists of checks with their classes and category, you can create a new check as well. So, the 5 checks that you see are the ones that were applicable on your update set, if there are any scan findings, then you need to rectify that.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark it as correc and helpful
Thanks!

Hi there,
I assume you used the UI Action "Scan Update Set"?
Basically the active Scan Checks which match the artifacts in your Update Set will then be executed. That's the Check (5) what you are seeing. More interesting would be if there are any Scan Findings, apparently not. Is that a good thing, can't tell... if you are only using the out-of-the-box Scan Checks then you will hardly have any Scan Findings ever 🙂
For more on Instance Scan, you could have a look at my articles.
Kind regards,
Mark
