Hello,
There are two user records in the below screenshot. The first record was updated by 'azure_ad_sync,' and the second record was updated by 'system.' What does 'updated by system' mean?

Hi @Erica2 ,
"Updated by" field shows who updated the record, in this case when record is updated by any system logic like Business rules, workflow, flows or any script logics would have updated the second record so updated by is "system".
Out of box:
If user updates the record - shows who updated it
if User actions triggers the above system componenets to update record it says "system"
