User cannot change view

Hi!

I have a custom table extended from the Task table. For the records in this tabel I have made a list view, where one view was made, then deleted, then a new view was added. The problem now is that for some users, this new view is unavailable. The user simply does not have the possibility to change views, see screenshot:

When opening the table sys_ui_list.list, some of the users seem to have their private, old view, where the view is connected to a specific user, but the general view I made for all users are not available. Even when deleting the user-specific view they still do not see the "standard" view. Does anyone know what could cause this behaviour? From what I can find, switching views should not depend on roles or anything else?

Hi,

To switch between active views, the user must have the role 'view changer'

Hi Marianne,

Do you have any view rules that forces the view. Also check proper roles to change this views.

Thanks,

If it's a list view and you have added in the columns that you want make sure they haven't personalised the columns they want to see.

If you click the gear icon and see 'Reset to column defaults' that means they have personalised their list view which will override what you have configured. Reset to default and they should see the new layout you've made.

It turned out that the application menu module for the list had an old "default" view set as the view for the list, and this prevented the users from seeing the new view. All good now!
