While assigning a group to the user im seeing this error. Why

Hi @George_1 

 

The "User is not authorized to perform this action" error when assigning groups in ServiceNow typically occurs because the group you are adding a user to contains a high-level role (like security_admin) that you do not currently possess or have not elevated to.

 

Elevated to security_admin->then try to add ->It will work.

Hello @George_1 ,

 

Please once check user having required role or not . The group which you are editing(adding group member) requires some higher role , please once check .
