User Provisioning to ServiceNow using Okta

Hi All,

We are standing up a brand new instance of ServiceNow and we are using Okta for user provisioning & SSO.
My client's instances are new/ empty so I am starting from user provisioning followed by IM/PM/CM.

I am wondering how can I get department, location as well as company details in ServiceNow along with user provisioning.

 

Can someone please help with technical steps starting from Plugin /spoke enablement so that I can configure  OKTA for user provisioning to ServiceNow?

You will need to check with the Active Directory team like Azure AD team who can help you with these informations.

I believe OKTA  does support User provisioning to ServiceNow. Hence, we are not using Active Directory/Azure AD.

 

I am looking for comprehensive steps for the OKTA - Servcienow User provisioning.

Hi @Community Alums ,

The challenge I am having since the Company/Country/location/department is the reference table. So how can we handle it while doing the user provisioning as we can t push data to a reference file while updating the user profile in ServiceNow?

 

Followup question:  Do I need to configure and use the MID server for this integration?
