User should only have access to SIMT records but not SIMR Record

Hello,

My requirement is to only allow users from certain groups to have access to records on Security Incident Management Task (SIMT) records but they should not have access to the Security Incident Management Record (SIMR).

Both SIMR and SIMT Records are locked down presently for those groups, but they only want access on SIMT Records given to them. I understand that write ACL needs to be created but I need some guidance on this.

You can add a read and write ACL to the SIMT table and add the group or groups as security attributes on the form. This (newer) feature makes it possible to allow group access without having to script.
