Users without roles cannot open RITM to approve

Hello Friends,

We have an issue where Users without roles are added as Approvers for few Requests.

When Users login in they will go to Self service portal. Under "My Approvals" they see this RITM request waiting for their approval.

When they click on the RITM record, it shows blank page.

My question here is: Does Users require any roles to see the RITM (Request Item) details before approving the same.

NOTE: For testing purpose: i gave the User role and checked, they are able to open the RITM.

For testing did you add "itil" role?

Yes Midhun i added itil role for testing


So should need "itil" role to read catalog item so ultimately Approvers needs minimum itil role to approve.

Basavaraja, users without a role should be able to approve by email as that doesn't not require a fulfiller licence.
