Hello,
We are currently using a content item to display an item on the 'sp' portal that opens a catalog item on a different portal named 'iam'.
In San Diego, the workaround solution was working perfectly. The users clicked on the content item, and the catalog item opened in the 'iam' portal with the 'iam' portal header, portal color scheme, etc.
After upgrading to Utah, the content item still works as it relates to opening the catalog item. However, the page doesn't seem to properly refresh. As a result, the 'sp' header, color scheme, etc. is still displayed. If you refresh/reload the page, the 'iam' portal elements are then displayed.
Another interesting note: If we search for the content item from search on the sp portal page, it opens correctly in both San Diego and Utah. The problem occurs when clicking the content item tile from the service catalog category page.
I reached out to Now Support but they state the content item workaround is a customized solution so they can't help me. I am hopeful this group of experts will be able to provide me with some guidance for troubleshooting and fixing the issue.
Here is the URL that we are using:
iam?id=iam_sc_cat_item&sys_id=e00b807edb3d8910814ab8e2f39619e7&sysparm_category=bce616121bfb4010bab14005bd4bcb44
Is there a parament that I can add to the URL to force the page to refresh/reload? Other solutions to consider?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@Mark Roethof - I noticed that you have posted about redirects in the past. Do you have any suggestions?
