Variable value is clearing off post submitting the request

Hi,

I have a catalog form where i have a reference field. When is submit the request in the backend RITM i dont see the value filled in. I dont have any script to clear value. Can you help how to make the variable value visible in backend

its a short description field of a knowledge article, in Type specification i have given the table for knowledge as reference. I dont have issue in the front end catalog form

there is some script onLoad or onchange or some UI policy which is getting applied on RITM and clearing it

Did you check variable value is present in this table for your RITM? sc_item_option_mtom

If yes then some script is clearing, either workflow run script or business rule or flow
