Hi All,
Currently we are using Istanbul version. We created few catalog items in different update sets and merged all the update sets to move from one instance to another.
But after merging we noticed that the updated captured in merged update sets was 117(Each update set has 200+ updates and we merged 19 such update sets). After moving to target instance we noticed that most of the variables didn't get moved to target instance.
Did anyone faced the same issue?
Is there any way I can copy the catalog item and move to the target instance.
Thanks&Regards

Hello Lakshmi,
I doubt when update set was committing, there might be some errors due to application scope. Have you captured all the 19 update sets in same application scope and the merged one to in the same update set?
If yes, then the way I can think of making small changes on Catalog item to get capture in update set and to capture a variable, you need to make an update to each variable separately to get captured in the update set.
Mark this helpful/correct depending upon the impact.

Hi Surya,
We didn't get any error while moving the update sets. Each update sets has 150+ updates. We lost data while merging the update sets.Only 117 updates got captured in merged update set.
Is there a way to unmerge the update sets?
Thanks
Lakshmi

Hello Lakshmi,
Unfortunately, at this point in time, ServiceNow doesn't support the "Unmerge Update Sets".
Below is the link which might help the cause:
