Washington Upgrade Link Issue

Hi Team,

We had recently upgraded Servicenow from Vancouver to Washington and the color of the links in the list view seems to have changed from Blue to Grey for some reason. Any idea where to check for this issue or what needs to be done to fix this?

(check below file name column, it is in light grey color)

Hi Team,

So here is my finding on this issue:

On Vancouver version  the property which set the color of the list link(incident number field or any other links) is  "--now-color--link-1",  so changing this would change the color as well.

However on Washington version,  this property doesn't seem to be used, instead it uses the property

"--now-color--secondary-1",  so after changing this color it worked fine.

So in my case, my theme (or my ux style) had the "--now-color--secondary-1", set to above light gray color, hence after upgrade (Vancouver to Washington) it took that color instead of the color set in "--now-color--link-1"

I was able to figure out the actual property from this post: https://www.servicenow.com/community/next-experience-articles/ui-builder-theming/ta-p/2331911

However, I'm not sure if this has changed from SN end in the Washington release, OR if there were some misconfiguration from our end. But this seems to work now.

If you have faced similar issue after upgrade please do share. Also if you have a better understanding of this whole issue please comment.

Thanks

Hi there,

Haven't encountered such a change at two recent customers where I was involved with their Washington DC upgrade or my own PDI.

You did also double check that this is system wide? Or is this only this list view? Or is this perhaps also a browser thing? Or recent selection thing?

Kind regards,

You might encounter this issue if you have a custom theme on your instance, also haven't observed anywhere else atm apart from the above list links.

Thanks
