What does Excludes Deferred and Includes deferred on Remediation task form ?

Can anyone explain what does excludes deferred and include deferred do on remediation task form?

Hello,

If you determine that the issue associated with a vulnerable item is of low risk and can be immediately deferred without further analysis, you can use the Defer feature.

So this will basically include or exclude those vulnerable item while counting the total
