Hi Satya Yadav,
Brief explanation about ITIL and ITIL life cycle.
ITIL lifecycle is an approach to providing best practice guidance for IT Service Management or defined a set of processes organized around the service lifecycle.
The ITIL lifecycle for services is designed into five stages. These stages are interlinked. The reason behind this is to ensure that the end-goal is always kept in mind during all the stages of the ITIL lifecycle for services. This interlinked system is designed to enable consistent IT services.
It is important to adhere to the principles of the ITIL lifecycles for IT services to run smoothly.
The image below depicts the lifecycle components in detail.
The ITIL Lifecycle for services includes:
- Service Strategy
- Service Design
- Service Transition
- Service Operation
- Continual service improvement
are the stages respectively.
