What role is needed in production to enable the actions on seleced rows to approve bulk requests

I have a requirement where in the related list of a table there is an Approval tab. If there are multiple approval requests user can select all the requestes and click on 'actions on slelected row 'and approve or reject option from the dropdown should be enabled for them.In lower instances it is working fine but in production. What role is needed in production to enable the actions on seleced rows to approve bulk requests

Approving or rejecting records in bulk like this is not a good practice. It gives the impression that the approver isn’t reviewing or understanding the records and is simply taking action blindly. 

If a user has role like approver can do this in list view,

You can utilise below roles for that - 

 

  • approval_admin – This role allows users to manage approvals, including approving requests in bulk.
  • approver_user – This role is for standard approvers, enabling them to approve requests individually or in bulk.

Please check the ACL on sysapproval_approver table for the write operation. Once the role there is given hr should be able to edit in bulk in list view.
