Where can I find more information about sn_cs.VASystemObject?

For example, in the scheduled job 'Time Out Abandoned VA Conversations' there is a function call 'sn_cs.VASystemObject.faultAbandonedConversations();'. What does this actually do?

There are other calls to sn_cs.VASystemObject elsewhere so it would be good to get some insight into what these do too.

sn_cs is platform level script include which we don't have access to as customers.

You can create HI incident and ask SN support for implementation of sn_cs API.
