Hi,

I have created a new web service user and gave web_service_admin role to this integration user. Also provided create and write ACL for web_service_admin role. While creating a incident/ change request via Postman it is giving below error.

Please guide me with correct information here.

Thanks,

Dhara

snc_internal will be granted automatically when the user logs in or access ServiceNow instance. You cannot assign it manually.

Also, sn_incident_write might not work for change. Better provide ITIL if needed instead which will take care of mostly all ITSM modules.

Hey @Dhara
ITIL has licensing cost as well, so you want to keep that in mind while assigning itil role.

I think there is change_requester role for that,, you can check ACLs for chnage request what is there and I think there is also a role for change as

sn_change_write

Correct. User profiles marked as Internal Integration User or Web Service Access Only is marked are excluded & considered funcitonal IDs
